Despite the sub-par numbers, RGIII may have wrapped up Rookie of the Year honors with his performance. He finished the regular season with 3,200 yards passing and 815 yards rushing, and 27 total touchdowns to just five interceptions.
Fantasy Impact: Thankfully, rushing yards and touchdowns are scored higher than passing yards and touchdowns in most fantasy leagues, otherwise Sunday’s performance may have seriously hurt fantasy owners in Week 17 championship games. They will certainly forgive the rookie quarterback, who has otherwise been sensational this season. Griffin should be considered a solid QB1 heading into the 2013 NFL season.
