Josh Brown to sign with Bengals, replacing injured Mike Nugent: Fantasy implications
Josh Brown is expected to sign with the Bengals to replace the injured Mike Nugent, according to reports. We break down the fantasy implications.

Brown was last seen losing out on the starting kicking job to Nick Folk during New York Jets training camp. He went 3-for-4 during preseason, missing a 45-yarder during the Jets' third game against the Carolina Panthers.
Fantasy Impact: Brown has been a solid kicker throughout his career, making 81 percent of his 272 career attempts. He hit just 75 percent last year for the St. Louis Rams, but sample sizes being what they are, it's only fair to give Brown the benefit of the doubt and say that he should be a solid kicker if he starts for the Bengals.
The Bengals haven’t attempted many field goals this season, however. Nugent’s 23 attempts rank just 20th in the league. Selecting a fantasy kicker is always a crap shoot, but there is no evidence to suggest that Brown will be better than any other option going forward.
