Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is on pace for his best ever season. After undergoing offseason knee surgery to repair a torn ACL, Peterson has come back better than ever and now he has his eyes on Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing record of 2,105 yards.
Adrian Peterson gunning for single-season rushing record to top off excellent fantasy season
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson talked about breaking Eric Dickerson’s single season rushing record of 2,105 yards. We break down the fantasy implications.

Peterson said he is “always looking up to 2,000, 2,500 yards.” He has 1,446 yards through 12 games with an amazing 6.2 yards per carry. If he averages 138.5 yards per game over his final four games he will become the seventh player to reach 2,000 yards rushing in a season.
Fantasy Impact: No one expected Peterson to have this kind of season after coming off major knee surgery. Peterson has been the best running back in the league this season and has been particularly good over the last few weeks. Last week Peterson rushed for 210 yards and he has rushed for over 100 yards in each of his last six games.
Peterson has a tough matchup against the Chicago Bears this week, but as always, he is a must start player.
