Cowboys vs. Bengals fantasy football projections: featuring A.J. Green, Tony Romo and Dez Bryant

After missing the Cowboys' previous six games with a foot injury, DeMarco Murray ran for a respectable 83 yards and a touchdown against eh Philadelphia Eagles last week (he also caught four passes for 19 yards). Murray is expected to start again against the Bengals in Week 14 and his arrival couldn't have come at a better time as the Bengals' BenJarvus Green-Elllis is coming off of his third straight 100 yard+ performance, albeit against three subpar opponents (San Diego, Oakland and Kansas City). Although the first two of those games were blowouts, it is worth noting that Green-Ellis has averaged 25 touches per contest during that time, easily more than in any other stretch this year.

As much as the surprise top performers of this game may very well be found in the running game, the less surprising outcome would be a pair of stand out performances from two of the league's hottest receivers, A.J. Green and Dez Bryant. Green has demonstrated a penchant for making difficult catches and can breakaway from defenders and out leap them in ways few other receivers in the game can. His fantasy owners should be anything but worried about Green's failure to score the last two weeks as he's as much a sure fire starter as a fantasy player can be. On the other side of the field, Dez Bryant will look to give the Bengals' secondary a headache whenever quarterback Tony Romo decides to air it out to him. Bryant has six touchdowns in his last four games after managing just a pair of touchdowns in his first eight games this season (both of which came against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6.)

Bryant's hot streak over the past month is definitely a direct result of Romo's play as the Eastern Illinois alumni has averaged 352 passing yards per game in the last three weeks and has thrown at least three touchdown passes in back to back contests. He'll be up against Andy Dalton, who has been held under 300 yards passing in six straight games. That said, Dalton's significantly lower yard totals over the last little while can be attributed in large part to blow out wins in three of the last four weeks with the running game being used to run out the clock.
