New England Patriots rookie DE Chandler Jones had an impressive performance in his first professional game. Playing just 26 snaps in the Pats' 7-6 win over New Oreans, the first-round draft pick had five QB hurries and 2 stuffed runs, bullying Saints LT Jermon Bushrod into two holding calls in the process.
DE Chandler Jones Impressive In NFL Debut: Fantasy Implications
Chandler Jones had an impressive debut as the Patriots’ starting RE. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Jones has been the talk of the town in New England’s training camp, winning the starting RE job right out of the gate and drawing favorable comparisons to Mark Anderson. His presence will be a big boost to a Pats defense that ranked 31st in yards allowed, 17th in rushing D, and 14th in sacks. Look for Jones to hit the ground running in Week 1. He’s one of the top sleeper picks in IDP leagues and should help the overall defense be much improved from last season.
