Pittsburgh Steelers RB Jonathan Dwyer suffered a shoulder sprain Thursday against the Eagles. He played through the injury until leaving in the 2nd quarter of Pittsburgh's 24-23 loss. Today, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette confirmed that Dwyer has an AC sprain and seems to be day-to-day.
RB Jonathan Dwyer Suffers AC Sprain: Fantasy Implications
Steelers RB Jonathan Dwyer hurts his shoulder and is expected to miss practice time. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Dwyer is fighting Chris Rainey for the backup RB job behind Isaac Redman, and while an AC shoulder injury is relatively minor, he can't afford to miss practice reps. He had only 2 carries for 40 yards, while Rainey took advantage of the extra playing time with a 53-yard TD reception in the 3rd quarter The Steelers RB situation is in trouble with Rashard Mendenhall on the PUP and expected to miss a significant part of the season. Redman was equally uninspired, with 14 yards on 5 carries. Fantasy-wise, this unit is a complete mess, and we recommend to stay far away.
