Mikel Leshoure Ruled Out Of Lions Preseason Opener Friday: Fantasy Implications
Mikel Leshoure will miss Friday’s preseason opener with a hamstring injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Leshoure's status is somewhat frustrating considering how little is known about the second-year running back. He missed his rookie season with a torn ACL, and now is hobbling back from a hamstring injury. Leshoure could be very valuable if healthy considering the strong passing game he has for support. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, that means taking a flyer on him sight unseen. With Jahvid Best on the physically unable to perform list, Kevin Smith remains the Lions' only draftable running back prospect.
