Miami Dolphins rookie QB Ryan Tannehill had an impressive debut Friday night, completing 14 of 21 passes for 167 yards and a touchdown. Taking over for Matt Moore at the end of the 2nd quarter, Tannehill drove his team to the red zone two times and connected with Charles Clay for a 11-yard TD, the Dolhpins' only score of the night.
Ryan Tannehill Shines In Dolphins Debut: Fantasy Implications
Ryan Tannehill had a standout performance in Friday’s preseason opener. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Friday's series of events just made Miami's QB battle even more interesting. It was presumed that Moore and David Garrard would compete for the starting job, with Tannehill sitting and being groomed for 2013. Then news broke that Garrard would have knee surgery and Tannehill was vaulted into the #2 position. Of course, it is preseason, and we shouldn't look too much into a performance against backups, but Tannehill took full advantage of the opportunity he was given and made his coaches sit up and take notice. This will be an entertaining QB battle.
