Playing with the second unit Friday night after a rib injury in the Hall of Fame game, Kevin Kolb had another poor performance against the Chiefs. He finished the night 1 for 5 with 21 yards and a sack, and was pulled for Ryan Lindley after just 10 snaps. The Cardinals went on to lose 27-10.

Analysis: The Kolb trade and signing is looking more disastrous by the week. It's unclear if he was still being bothered by the rib injury, but lasting less than one quarter does not bode well at all. He's clearly losing more opportunities with the Cards, and isn't doing much with the ones he's given - after two preseason games, he's 2 for 9 with 25 yards and a "perfect" 0.0 QB Rating. The only fantasy interest in this story should be "who's throwing to Larry Fitzgerald?" and at this point, I would feel much more comfortable with that guy being John Skelton than Kolb.
