Desmond Bishop To Undergo Surgery on Injured Hamstring: Fantasy Implications
Desmond Bishop will have surgery on his hamstring. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Wow. Bishop is one of the most talented linebackers in the league and IDP owners had him locked and loaded as a top-five linebacker in almost any format. The Packers are also at a huge loss as a team with arguably their best player on the mend. Bishop had 90 solo tackles last year in his 13 games, so his extrapolated total of 111 would have ranked him tied for second with NaVorro Bowman. The Packers were missing a presence in the middle and while most NFL fans don't know who Desmond Bishop is, this could really hurt them in keeping their opponents in check in the running game. There's no reason to draft the Green Bay defense and we wouldn't bother draft Bishop's backup D.J. Smith as anything more than an LB3 either.
