The Dallas Cowboys will open the preseason against the Raiders with a very light roster. WR Miles Austin, CB Morris Claiborne, DT Jay Ratliff, C Phil Costa, LB Anthony Spencer, and DE Jason Hatcher are all confirmed to be out for Monday night's game. Meanwhile, WR Dez Bryant is a game-time decision with a tweaked hamstring, and CB Mike Jenkins is uncertain to play at all in the preseason.
Cowboys To Sit Up To Eight Players In Monday’s Preseason Opener: Fantasy Implications
The Dallas Cowboys may sit up to eight starters in tonight’s game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: That’s a lot of big names to miss one game, and if this were the regular season, Cowboys fans would be bracing for a disastrous game. Fortunately, it’s preseason, these guys have nearly a month to heal up, and coach Jason Garrett doesn’t plan on giving the starters many snaps in the first place. So Cowboys fans and fantasy owners shouldn’t fret too much here - tonight’s game may not make for great television, but better safe than sorry.
