Nick Fairley’s Trial Moved To September 26th: Fantasy Implications
Nick Fairley’s misdemeanor trial has been delayed a whole month. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: A suspension seems likely, if not inevitable, for the talented but troubled second-year lineman. Roger Goodell, as usual, isn’t saying much in public, only saying “we certainly do acknowledge the legal process and want to be respectful of that.” Goodell has a history of making an example of players, however, and given the Lions’ numerous legal trouble over the offseason, one has to think he’ll come down hard on the team, making Fairley the sacrificial lamb. It’s a troubling state of affairs for this up-and-coming defense.
