Miles Austin was held out of Monday night's contest between the Dallas Cowboys and the Oakland Raiders with a strained hamstring. The first team offense struggled mightily on the night while Austin was out. The Cowboys were shutout in the first half and Tony Romo managed just 30 yards on 3-for-6 passing.
Cowboys Vs. Raiders: Miles Austin Held Out Of Monday’s Contest
Miles Austin was held out of Monday night’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Oakland Raiders with a strained hamstring. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Of Romo's 30 yards, 24 came on a leaping grab by Dez Bryant, who was considered questionable before the game but played anyway despite a hamstring injury of his own. If Bryant and Austin can stay healthy and get on the field together, the Cowboys' passing offense should be very formidable. That is a big "if," however. Austin missed six games last season with hamstring trouble, and Bryant seemingly hasn't been at 100 percent since being taken in the 2010 NFL Draft.
Of course, Bryant and Austin’s production will depend on the offense looking better than it did Monday. The offensive line in particular needs to jell, fast. Chalk it up the shaky performance to preseason jitters for now, but keep an eye on the Cowboys’ offense just in case a trend emerges.
