DeMarco Murray and Felix Jones could not get anything going during their limited touches during Monday night's game between the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders. Murray finished with two carries for zero yards. Jones had two carries for four yards. Jamize Olawale finished as the Cowboys' leading rusher with 12 carries for 42 yards.
Cowboys Vs. Raiders: DeMarco Murray, Felix Jones Struggle Monday Night
DeMarco Murray and Felix Jones struggled during Monday night’s contest between the Cowboys and the Raiders, combining for four yards on four carries. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: It was clear from the get-go that the Cowboys’ offensive line wasn’t going to do the young running backs any favors on the night, and the sample size is certainly too small to draw much of a conclusion. Still, it’s disappointing that Murray and Jones didn’t show something. Both backs are as close to full health as they have been in some time, and there is no denying their great physical gifts. Either could be fantasy gold except neither has ever shown it consistently.
As for Olawale, the former college tight end started receiving carries in the second quarter so there must be something the coaches like. The 240-pounder didn’t show much, averaging just 3.5 yards per carry. His size and spot on the depth chart could mean touchdown-stealing goal-line carries in the future, however.
