Analysis: After an offseason spent butting heads over a contract extension, the Bears are not about to risk inuring their multi-million dollar running back. Don’t expect head coach Lovie Smith to keep Forte in Thursday’s game for more than a few series.
From a fantasy perspective, there isn’t much to see here. When healthy, Forte is one of the most productive backs in the NFL, and doubly so for those in PPR leagues. Forte was 10th in the NFL in yards from scrimmage despite missing the final four games of the 2011 regular season with an MCL strain.
