The Chicago Bears are still counting on LB Brian Urlacher to be ready for the team's season opener against the Indianapolis Colts on Sept. 9. Urlacher had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Tuesday to relieve pain and swelling. Urlacher hasn't practiced since July 31.
Despite Surgery, Bears Counting on Brian Urlacher for Season Opener: Fantasy Implications
Despite knee surgery, the Bears are still counting on Brian Urlacher for the season-opener. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Urlacher is a solid IDP play and a key part of Chicago's defensive unit. The knee surgery is a bit concerning but the team called the procedure minor, so there is no reason to panic at this point. The downside of this is that Urlacher is now 34 and in the final year of his contract, so there will likely be questions about his future. As a team defense, Chicago is a unit that will be a good start for fantasy lineups in most weeks. As the regular season gets closer, make sure Urlacher is ready to go and draft him and the Bears accordingly.
