Seattle WR Sidney Rice has been cleared for contact in practice, after wearing a no-contact red jersey for the first two weeks of training camp. The Seattle Times reports that Rice won’t play in Saturday’s preseason game at Denver but he did participate on Tuesday in team drills and was seen diving trying to match catches. Rice is working to return from offseason shoulder surgeries.

Analysis: Rice is probably the most talented receiver Seattle has, but he plays in an offense that is still trying to figure things out. Rice is also an injury risk, as noted by his shoulder surgeries. He has also had problems with concussions. Rice may end up being the No. 1 receiver for Seattle but fantasy owners should thoroughly examine all of their options on draf day before pulling the trigger on Rice.
