Santonio Holmes spent New York Jets practice Wednesday in the trainer's room with back tightness, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. Head coach Rex Ryan said it is possible that Holmes could miss the rest of preseason, though he thinks the wide receiver will play at some point.
Santonio Holmes Misses Jets Practice With Back Tightness: Fantasy Implications
Santonio Holmes sat out Jets practice Wednesday while getting treated for back tightness. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Holmes is also nursing a rib-cartilage injury and has been ruled out for the Jets' second preseason game against the New York Giants on Saturday. The expectation is that the wide receiver will be ready to go for the start of the regular season, but whether he gets any reps beforehand remains to be seen. As of now, Holmes is in definite Flex territory as a fantasy prospect. His quarterback situation certainly doesn't inspire much confidence, nor does a disappointing 2011 season marred by injuries.
