Titans quarterback Jake Locker will be making his first NFL start on Friday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and it could be his best opportunity to win the competition against veteran Matt Hasselbeck, says Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean. Wyatt points out that Locker has thrown just 3 interceptions in camp, compared to 9 for Hasselbeck.
Jake Locker Makes First Start On Friday: Fantasy Implications
Jake Locker is starting for the Titans on Friday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Implications: Hasselbeck started against the Seahawks in preseason week one and ended 5-of-9 for 45 yards, 0 TD and 2 INT, whereas Locker was 7-of-13 for 80 yards, no touchdowns or interceptions. The first interception for Hasselbeck was an unlucky bounce, but his days as a fantasy quarterback are mostly over as it is. Meanwhile, Locker could have the athleticism with his arms and legs to be a future 2-touchdown-per-game quarterback, even if he has trouble completing more than 55% of his passes. Locker is only draftable if he ends up winning the job in the preseason.
