Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter is reportedly using a three-receiver set as a primary formation. The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that WR Roddy White called for more use of the formation and the team used it in its preseason opener. The Falcons should get a better sense of how it will work on Thursday against Cincinnati, as No. 3 receiver Harry Douglas (rib injury) is expected to play.
Falcons To Use Three-Receiver Set as a Primary Formation: Fantasy Implications
The Atlanta Falcons are using a three-receiver set as a primary formation. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: This would make sense for the Falcons, who have given Matt Ryan a number of talented weapons to throw to like White, Julio Jones and Tony Gonzalez. Running back Michael Turner isn't getting younger and this could help him stay fresh during the season. If this works, Ryan, White and Jones could all be in for big fantasy seasons. Ryan has the potential to be a fringe Top 5 passer.
