Analysis: This is good news for the Eagles, who gave Asomugha a five-year, $60 million contract before last season. He is a key piece to Philadelphia's defense, which will be tested by a division that includes the strong offenses of the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys.
