Trent Richardson Expected Out Thursday Vs. Packers: Fantasy Implications
Trent Richardson will likely sit out the Cleveland Browns’ preseason game against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: The hope seems to be that Richardson will be back at full speed by Week 1 of the regular season. Whether we will actually get a glimpse of the No. 3 overall pick before then remains to be seen. At the same time, Richardson’s procedure was a minor one, so there should not too much trepidation over his long-term status. He may see a lesser workload to start the season, but he is still expected to work his way up to a feature role as the season goes on. Drafting rookies is always risky, especially sight unseen, but Richardson is projected to factor heavily into the Browns’ gameplan and should probably be one of the Top 10 backs off the board come draft day.
