Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll has confirmed on 950 KJR that Terrell Owens will make his Seahawks debut this Saturday against the Broncos. Owens, who sat out all of 2011 with injury, is competing to not only make the final roster, but to start opposite of Sidney Rice. He was signed to a one-year deal last week.

Fantasy Implications: When he last played in the NFL, he was actually quite productive with the Bengals in 2010. Owens had 72 catches for 983 yards and 9 touchdowns in only 14 games that season. Despite his advanced age (39 in December) and year away from the game, it seems like Owens could still be productive after running a sub-4.50 forty-yard-dash in his Seattle workout. He's most likely fighting with Braylon Edwards and Golden Tate for a job. Rice is expected to be back for week one, but if his injury issues persist, it seems even likelier that Owens could start.
