Cowboys LB DeMarcus Ware says he will not play Saturday against the San Diego Chargers because of a hamstring injury. Ware tells The Fort Worth Star-Telegram that the injury is not serious and that he would be able to play if it were a regular-season game.
DeMarcus Ware to Miss Chargers Game with Hamstring Injury: Fantasy Implications
Cowboys LB DeMarcus Ware will miss Saturday’s preseason game with San Diego because of a hamstring injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: The good news is that this doesn’t sound serious but hamstring injuries are annoyingly persistent. Ware is an important part of the Dallas defense, which fantasy wise rates as a fringe Top 10 fantasy defense. There are weeks when it will be a good start and there will be others when owners will want to at least consider other options. Ware in IDP leagues is a solid player to have depending on how many defensive players your league requires and how valuable sacks are in scoring. Team defense or IDP rankings likely don’t need to be adjusted because of this.
