Analysis: The important bit from a fantasy perspective is that Rodgers-Cromartie didn’t earn a suspension, making him safe to deploy as an IDP from Week 1 of the regular season. Few will argue that the hit was clean, despite what the cornerback says. As a fantasy option, you should be able to find a better starting option, unless you are in a particularly deep IDP league. Rodgers-Cromartie is only an ‘okay’ source of tackles for the position, and he recorded zero interceptions in 13 games played last season.
