With Todd Haley in as the new offensive coordinator in Pittsburgh, Miller was expected to be utilized more in the passing game this year. However, he has been used primarily as a blocker so far, and will likely continue this role with the Steelers offensive line struggling.
Heath Miller Being Used More As A Blocker: Fantasy Implications
Heath Miller isn’t seeing much action in the passing game this preseason. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Miller was pretty average last year as far as fantasy standards go. The Steelers have been forced to turn to the veteran tight end to assist in pass blocking often with so many issues and questions surrounding the front five. As he continues to be a non-factor through preseason, owners should temper their expectations even more. Miller only finished 2011 with two touchdowns total, his second season in a row with this mark. He might be a No. 2 tight end at best for your lineup.
