San Diego Chargers WR Eddie Royal could return to practice on Wednesday, reports Scott Blair of the North County Times. Royal has missed nearly all of training camp with a nagging groin injury, and still isn't expected to suit up for Friday's game against the Vikings. The Chargers signed him in the offseason to handle return duties, but were hinting at giving him more playing time in the slot.
Eddie Royal Could Start Practicing On Wednesday: Fantasy Implications
The Chargers hope WR Eddie Royal can return to practice Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: At this point, we'll believe he's healthy when he's actually on the field. After a breakout 2008 season (91 catches, 980 yards, 5 TDs), Royal has been slowed by injuries ever since, and shouldn't be counted on to play 16 games. The recent injury to Vincent Brown gives Royal a new chance to take the slot position for himself, but outside of deep PPR leagues, he's not much of a fantasy option.
