Michael Vick Injured For the Second Time in Preseason: Fantasy Implications
Michael Vick exited Monday night’s preseason game against the Patriots with an apparent rib injury. The injury marks the second time this preseason that Vick has left the game due to injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Update: Michael Vick’s rib X-rays came back negative, so he is out of the woods for now.
Analysis: Michael Vick has always been injury prone. In fact, he has played a full season only once in his nine-year NFL career. Vick struggled with a rib injury last season, so the Eagles have to hope that is not what is ailing him this time around. When healthy, Vick is an elite fantasy option. Even with his injury issues last season, Vick was among the top ten quarterbacks in average fantasy points per week. Spending a second or third round pick on Vick is too risky this season, but his upside will be tough to turn down in the fourth or fifth round if he’s healthy to start the season.
