Michael Vick will undergo MRI and CT scans Tuesday on the rib injury he suffered during the first quarter of Monday night's preseason game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots. Vick left the game after taking a crushing blow from Pats defensive lineman Jermaine Cunningham. X-rays of his ribs taken in the locker room came back negative, however.
Michael Vick To Undergo MRI, CT Scan For Rib Injury: Fantasy Implications
Michael Vick will undergo MRI and CT scans Tuesday on the rib injury he suffered Monday night against the Patriots. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: No bones are broken, and the hope is now that more tests won't reveal anything beyond Vick's current soreness and bruising. Fantasy owners have to be very dismayed that Vick has now left both of the Eagles' preseason games early in the first quarter, however. If the Eagles' interior offensive line doesn't improve, it's difficult to see Vick lasting long this season. What's worse is that he was playing against New England's primarily second string. Nick Foles came into the game and performed admirably. If you feel Vick is worth the risk on draft day, at least do yourself a favor and handcuff him properly.
