Darrius Heyward-Bey returned to practice for the Oakland Raiders on Tuesday, Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Heyward-Bey suffered a shoulder injury during Friday's preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals. A speedy return to the practice field suggests that Heyward-Bey should likely play in the Raiders' third preseason game against the Detroit Lions on Saturday.
Darrius Heyward-Bey (Shoulder) Returns To Practice Tuesday: Fantasy Implications
Darrius Heyward-Bey returned to practice for the Raiders on Tuesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: It appears that Heyward-Bey will be perfectly fine going forward barring any setbacks. Whether he can finally evolve into a top-flight receiving option remains to be seen. He finally has a serviceable quarterback in Carson Palmer, but Denarius Moore seems to be at least as big a part of the Raiders' passing game, if not more so. Heyward-Bey's specialty will continue to be the deep ball, making him an unreliable option for consistent weekly production but good for the occasional explosion of fantasy points.
