Pittsburgh Steelers running back Isaac Redman believes his nagging hip injury could be a season-long issue, the Pittsbrugh Post-Gazette reports. Redman missed last Sunday's preseason game with the issue. An MRI did not reveal a significant injury, and the pain has subsided recently though it is still prevalent.
Isaac Redman Says Hip Injury Could Be Season-Long Issue: Fantasy Implications
Isaac Redman believes his hip injury will linger into the regular season. We break down the fantasy implications.

“I’m a downhill runner and take a lot of pounding,” Redman said. “I’m not really sure how the hip is going to hold up or if it’s going to hurt at all, or if I’m going to be fine. I’m just going to go day to day and see how it feels.”
Analysis: It's a good sign that the pain has all but subsided, but any time a player admits on his own accord that he may have issues during the regular season one has to worry as a fantasy owner. Redman may only be the Steelers' starter for a few weeks with Rashard Mendenhall now active from the PUP list. For the moment, you may want to avoid Pittsburgh's running back situation if possible.
