Arizona Cardinals quarterback John Skelton is getting the first shot Thursday at claiming the starting job. He is expected to play at least into the second quarter against the Tennessee Titans before giving way to Kevin Kolb. Skelton reportedly has the inside track to win the job but coach Ken Wisenhunt said this week that he might even wait until the final preseason game before picking a starter.
John Skelton Gets Shot At Winning Cardinals Starting Job: Fantasy Implications
Arizona Cardinals quarterback John Skelton gets a chance Thursday to cement his spot as the starter. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: It probably will not matter for fantasy owners who wins this job. Skelton and Kolb haven’t been setting the world on fire in the preseason, and the starter’s hold on the job will be tenuous at best once one is picked. On draft day, there should be plenty of other options at quarterback before a fantasy owner would need to consider who is starting for the Arizona Cardinals.
