Don't expect to see Tim Tebow running the Wildcat until the regular season begins, New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan told reporters Thursday. Ryan said that he has no plans as of yet to show off the package Sunday against the Carolina Panthers or the following week against the Philadelphia Eagles. He also revealed that Mark Sanchez will play into the third quarter against the Panthers, with Tebow finishing out the game.
Jets Won’t Show Tim Tebow Wildcat Package In Preseason: Fantasy Implications
Tim Tebow won’t run the Wildcat in preseason, Rex Ryan said Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Ryan’s announcement means we won’t get to see the one thing that might actually give Tebow some value in standard fantasy leagues. While that’s unfortunate, you shouldn’t really be considering Tebow as a fantasy option anyway. Sanchez is clearly the starter here, hence the start in the most critical game of preseason, and even if that changed Tebow might still be better left to the waivers.
