Urlacher has been dealing with a left knee injury but has never indicated that he would miss any regular-season time.

Analysis: This isn’t too big of a deal, even if he misses the first week. The veteran is undoubtedly determined not to miss time, but it’s more important for the Bears -- and fantasy owners -- if he plays the rest of the season. Owners in IDP leagues looking to take Urlacher shouldn’t adjust his value too much based on this news. The Bears as a D/ST unit are still one of the top teams in fantasy football regardless of Urlacher’s status for Week 1.
