San Francisco head coach Jim Harbaugh has confirmed that running back Brandon Jacobs has done enough to earn a roster spot, per Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea on Twitter. Jacobs has been dealing with a knee injury but apparently that hasn't hurt his chances of making the team after signing a one-year contract in the offseason.
Brandon Jacobs Earns Roster Spot: Fantasy Implications
Brandon Jacobs will make the 49ers roster, per Jim Harbaugh. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Implications: Whether you want to call it "loaded" or "crowded" the 49ers backfield has no less than four interesting and talented players between Jacobs, Frank Gore, Kendall Hunter, and rookie LaMichael James. Anthony Dixon is also still around and offensive coordinator Greg Roman recently said he just had one of his best games that he's seen. Injuries can change the landscape of a situation in a heartbeat, so it's tough to say who could emerge from the 49ers backfield as the best fantasy option right now, but they certainly have a lot of options. Jacobs may be out for the first game or two of the season.
