Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick told USA Today that his injured ribs are feeling at about 80% and that he's just trying to do what he has to to make it to their September 9th opener against the Browns. Vick was hurt near the beginning of the Eagles game against the Patriots last week and will likely miss the rest of the preseason as rookie Nick Foles starts in his place.
Michael Vick Says He Is At “80%”: Fantasy Implications
Michael Vick says he is at about 80% in recovery from a rib injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Implications: At times, Vick can be one of the top players in fantasy football like when he scored 30 total touchdowns in only 12 games of the 2010 season. However, last season he threw 14 interceptions against only 18 touchdown passes and just one rushing score while missing three games. You can never grab Vick without assuming injury and you could also expect him to run less as his attempts per game went down from 8.3 in 2010 to 5.8 in 2011. Without his ability to score touchdowns on the ground, Vick is just a backup option. As an oft-injured player, he’s a risk to start.
