McCourty was originally set to make $1.26 million in 2012 after posting career highs in tackles, interceptions and passes deflected.
Titans Extend CB Jason McCourty For Five Years: Fantasy Implications
The Titans locked up young cornerback Jason McCourty long-term. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: The two sides have been rumored to be discussing an extension since the early summer, as McCourty is being counted on to replace Cortland Finnigan as the team’s new No. 1 cornerback. It’s a great move for the Titans, who have been accused of pinching pennies with their homegrown talent, to lock up a talent like McCourty long-term. McCourty is one of the better young corners in the league, and if his INT numbers pick up, he could be an upper-tier fantasy option in IDP leagues.
