Andy Dalton finished his night against Green Bay 5 of 17 for 40 yards. He did manage to add 36 yards on three carries, but his 39.6 quarterback rating ultimately overshadowed any good news on the night for the second-year starter.
Andy Dalton Has Rough Outing Against Packers: Fantasy Implications
Tonight was not the finest showing in Andy Dalton’s career. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: This was not the night fantasy owners were anticipating from Dalton. The Packers ranked dead last in 2011 in passing yards allowed per game, and as the team has been marred by injuries lately, you would expect solid stats from any quarterback facing them at this point. Dalton was completely out of sync, averaging just 2.4 yards per attempt. He was pressured and sacked several times on the night as well. This is one he'll want to forget going forward. Luckily there's one more preseason game to bounce back. Still, fantasy owners will need to see something special next week to feel comfortable with Dalton in the lineup heading into Week 1.
