The Denver Post is reporting that Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning may not see as much playing time on Sunday against the 49ers as he has in the previous preseason game. Neither Manning nor coach John Fox have confirmed how much the first team will be playing, but he did indicate that he got more snaps than expected against the Seahawks, where he completed 16 of 23 passes for 177 yards and two picks.
Peyton Manning Could See Reduced Playing Time Sunday: Fantasy Implications
Peyton Manning may get some reduced playing time in the Broncos’ next preseason game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Given the reports of Manning's reduced velocity and struggles throwing to his right following three neck surgeries at age 36, it shouldn't be surprising if he does get a reduced role in the preseason. At this point, his fantasy stock is still too uncertain to risk a high draft pick on. As for the Broncos, this gives them a chance to better sort out the backup QB position between Caleb Hanie and rookie Brock Osweiler, neither of whom have impressed in preseason.
