The Denver Broncos would not be interested in trading for disgruntled Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew if he were to become available, according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post. Klis explains that the Broncos are happy with their current "crash-n-dash" tandem they have at running back with Willis McGahee and rookie Ronnie Hillman. The Broncos would also be unable to meet Jones-Drews' contract demands, Klis adds. Denver has been a speculated landing spot for Jones-Drew since trade rumors began, partly because of Jack Del-Rio's presence there, but there are no concrete reports at this time.

Analysis: Cross another potential trade partner off the list. Jones-Drew is running out of options, and the lack of trade interest in the Jaguars’ running back shows that either his contract demands are too high or the Jaguars have set a high asking price. Either way, owner Shad Khan is not going to cave and give MJD a new contract, and unless a huge trade offer comes in, he’s not going to grant that wish, either. Jones-Drew will report sooner or later. Odds are, he’ll be in Jacksonville before the season opener. Still, it’s tough to draft him early in fantasy drafts until this situation is sorted out.
