The Seattle Seahawks cut wide receiver Terrell Owens after a disappointing preseason. The Seahawks have gone through multiple veteran wide receivers this season, and Owens may have been the disappointing of the bunch. He dropped a touchdown from Matt Flynn, but did seem to have a bit left in the tank. There is still plenty of time before the start of the season, so Owens could conceivably picked up by another team for 2012.
Seahawks Cut Terrell Owens: Fantasy Implications
The Seattle Seahawks cut wide receiver Terrell Owens after a disappointing preseason. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Owens sparked interest in fantasy owners for a brief time, but it appears his fantasy value has fizzled at this point. Russell Wilson has taken over as the team’s starting quarterback and the team is going to move on with the receivers they have. One can’t fault the Seahawks for lack of effort. They have had a few failed experiments, but the passing offense has looked fine anyways.
