Randy Moss will start at wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday against the Denver Broncos, according to the Sacramento Bee. The start will be the first of Moss' 49ers career after he received playing time in the first quarterback of the team's first two preseason contests. Michael Crabtree, Ted Ginn and Mario Manningham have all gotten a chance to start for the 49ers this preseason. Crabtree is likely to start Sunday opposite Moss.
Randy Moss To Start For 49ers vs. Broncos: Fantasy Implications
Randy Moss will start at wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday against the Denver Broncos. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Randy Moss doesn’t have a ton of fantasy value in the 49ers offense, whether he is starting or not. He won’t get enough snaps each week to be a consistent producer. Moss is a deep threat and will be used as such, but Alex Smith is not the type of quarterback that will be able to get the most out of that. In addition, deep threats tend to be inconsistent fantasy producers, as it’s tough to rely on the long ball. Wait for Moss to prove himself before putting him on your roster.
