Kyle Williams Takes Advantage of Ted Ginn Jr. Ankle Injury: Fantasy Implications
49ers wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. sustained an ankle injury against the Denver Broncos on Sunday. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Ted Ginn Jr. is a top-three return man in the NFL and makes the 49ers D/ST in fantasy leagues extremely potent. He has rare return ability and great speed -- if this injury winds up being serious, it could slightly devalue the worth of San Francisco’s D/ST in most fantasy leagues. However, the explosive Kyle Williams stepped in for Ginn as a returner and did not look half bad. Williams has return experience in both the NCAA and NFL, and could provide a similar threat as Ginn in the return game.
