The Falcons ground game has yet to get going in 2012. Michael Turner carried the ball 10 times for just 35 yards against the Dolphins. He did manage to catch three passes for 36 yards to add on to his numbers.
Michael Turner Not Impressing Fantasy Football Owners Versus Dolphins
Michael Turner continues to struggle in preseason play. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Even though Miami has one of the better run defenses in the league, Turner's poor performance this preseason can't be overlooked. He just turned 30 this year, which everyone knows is right around the falloff for running backs. The Falcons have openly discussed their intention to limit Turner's workload in 2012, causing his value to decline. Unless we see some kind of breakout performance this Thursday against the Jaguars, fantasy owners can't be too excited about Turner heading into the season. He is a RB2 at best right now, with Jacquizz Rodgers' worth increasing as this team moves forward.
