The Steelers watched their first-round pick go down against the Bills on Saturday, as David DeCastro was carted off the field after apparently suffering a knee injury. Reports now say DeCastro will miss 3-5 months with a torn MCL and dislocated kneecap, adding another issue to Pittsburgh already troublesome offensive line.
David DeCastro Injury Hurts Ben Roethlisberger’s Fantasy Football Value
David DeCastro will not be suiting up for the Steelers for quite some time. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Ben Roethlisberger has taken a beating in recent years due to poor offensive line play for the Steelers. The franchise attempted to bolster the front five this offseason through the NFL Draft, but that hasn't quite panned out how they hoped so far. DeCastro's injury leaves right guard weakened, while left tackle is an area of concern as well. Big Ben should be making a lot of quick throws with the condition the offensive line is currently in. He is still an effective fantasy quarterback, but you have to worry about how comfortable he'll be in the pocket, as well as his health.
