After being named the No. 1 quarterback for the Titans this year, Jake Locker put up impressive numbers in his third preseason game of 2012. He completed 11 of 20 passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns in significant playing time against the Cardinals.
Jake Locker See Fantasy Football Stock Rise Against Cardinals
Jake Locker had a huge game against the Cardinals. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Critics will constantly point out Locker’s low completion percentage in arguments against the second-year quarterback, but that doesn’t make a difference when you’re putting up huge stats. Locker made some great passes throughout the night, showing solid chemistry already between several of his receivers. The Titans have an offensive line that will give him plenty of time to throw, and even if he is forced out of the pocket, Locker’s athleticism gives him the ability to run when he needs to and make throws on the move. Consider him a QB2 at the moment, but if he continues to put up these kind of numbers, he can be an effective starter.
