Texans QB Matt Schaub On Target Vs. Saints: Fantasy Implications
Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub had a strong showing against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3 of the 2012 preseason. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Schaub is not one of the top-tier passers in the league, nor in fantasy football. Schaub is a strong fantasy option when healthy because of the weapons he is surrounded with, however. Having an elite running back and an elite receiver, with versatile, pass-catching tight ends adds to Schaub’s value. Houston is looking to do big things in 2012, and are expecting big things of Schaub and this offense. Matt Schaub can be picked up in the middle rounds and provide great value considering where he is likely to be drafted. Don’t expect the fragile veteran to play much during the Texans’ Week 4 preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings.
