New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees was his old self against the Houston Texans in Week 3 of preseason. In the exhibition matchup, Brees went 17-for-25 for 179 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions. Brees is the key to the functionality of the offense, and with him at the helm, it should remain an efficient, high-powered unit. Expect Brees to rest when the Saints take on the Tennessee Titans in their final preseason game Thursday.
Saints QB Drew Brees Looks Up-To-Speed Vs. Texans D: Fantasy Implications
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees looked sharp against the Houston Texans in Week 3. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Drew Brees is a first round pick in most fantasy leagues. Even though the Saints are going against the odds in 2012, they have a chance to be a very productive football team again because of Brees. The Saints QB was fantasy gold last year, breaking Dan Marino's single-season passing record and leading the league's highest scoring offense. Brees is at the nucleus of everything this Saints offense does, so his value is sky-high. With weapons like Darren Sproles, Jimmy Graham and Marques Colston, Brees has a lot of guys to help make him look good.
