The New York Jets offense still hasn't found the end zone this preseason, but Stephen Hill managed to stand out Sunday night against the Carolina Panthers. The rookie caught five passes on seven targets for 68 yards.
Stephen Hill Boosts Fantasy Football Stock, Emerges Against Panthers
Stephen Hill made the most of his playing time against the Panthers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: There are very few playmakers on the Jets’ current roster. Hill was drafted in Round 1 of this year’s draft after his 40-yard dash time blew up the football world. His combination of size and speed provides a deadly weapon for an offense desperate for points. Hill is a raw player, but he showed he can step up against Carolina. He’ll be a project throughout 2012 after coming from Georgia Tech’s triple-option offense. His upside, though, is something to keep in mind. He might be worth a waiver pickup down the road, but for now you should at least wait to see what he does this Thursday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
