Giants Place DL Chris Canty, TE Travis Beckum On PUP List: Fantasy Implications
New York Giants defensive tackle Chris Canty and tight end Travis Beckum have been placed on the physically unable to perform list. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Not having Canty is the bigger blow here for the Giants. He has been a starter for the last two years on a very good defensive line that does a good job of pressuring the quarterback. The Giants as a D/ST unit will be a solid play in some weeks because they force turnovers. Fantasy owners need not worry about Beckum, as Martellus Bennett is expected to get most of the tight end targets in the Giants offense. Beckum was hurt in the Super Bowl and was never going to be ready for Week 1.
